Red Raider Jr. High Football Team Picks Up First Win

The Cameron County Junior High School Red Raider football team defeated Youngsville 20-0 last Thursday at the CCHS football field for their initial win of the 2017 season.
The Raider defense played well against a pair of large Eagle running backs, while the offense put three touchdowns on the board.
In the second quarter quarterback Devin Fowler pitched the ball to running back Camdyn Allison, who then connected on a thirteen yard touchdown pass to Dylan Baney. The Raiders scored again in the third quarter when Baney broke loose on a sixty-six yard run to the Youngsville one yard line and then Jameson Britton plowed in from there for a 12-0 lead. Fowler passed to Britton for the two point conversion.
