Emporium Rotary members welcomed Applachian Art Studio owner and Ridgway Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous organizer Liz Boni (left) as guest speaker during their recent luncheon meeting.
Boni and her husband, Rick, started the annual festival in 2000 with just over 30 chainsaw carvers participating. This year’s event runs March 11-18 and will feature more than 240 artists/carvers from the U. S., Canada, Germany, Japan, Argentina and numerous other countries.
