Rotarian Kim Jones introduced District Attorney Jeanne Rees Miglicio (left) as the guest speaker at the Rotary luncheon June 6th.

Attorney Miglicio grew up and attended school in Emporium through 10th grade, after which her family moved to Austin, where she graduated from Austin High School.

In 1992, she moved back to Emporium and purchased Oden’s Inn, which she sold in 2001 and is now known as Pizza Palace Plus.

After selling the restaurant, Jeanne decided to attend law school, receiving her law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in May 2007. After passing the PA bar exam in 2007, she went on to receive a graduate law degree in taxation in 2008 from Georgetown University Law School in Washington, D.C.
