School Board Holds Special Meeting To Fill Vacated Positions
An emergency meeting was scheduled by the Cameron County School District (CCSD) Board of Directors to fill positions that became vacant and had remained unfilled.
With the resignation of Band Director and Music Teacher Dan Sensenig last month, the music department was rudderless at sea, with marching band rehearsals being cancelled because no teacher was available to oversee them.
Hopefully, that will change in the near future, and the students can begin to prepare for marching season, which begins with the first football game in late August.
