School District Looking Into Line of Credit To Get Through Budget Impasse
The state budget impasse is beginning to cause problems for local agencies that depend upon state funding in order to deliver necessary services.
Cameron County School District Business Manager Carl Mitchell stated during Thursday’s regular meeting that the school may have to look into borrowing money to stay open if the state budget impasse continues beyond February.
