Science of The Hooker Man

Last week’s article of my experience with the legend of the Hooker Man created some stir and understandably cynical response. I can assure you that my tale is a true story, but as proof I can only offer that my imagination is not rich enough to create the story.
Thinking back on the incident and answering questions about it pushed me to look around for documentation that the phenomenon did exist. After some internet research I discovered several articles and accounts of the Hooker Man.
For example, it is stated that, “In one isolated incident, a young high school student was said to have been severely burned by the bizarre light, though this report has yet to be confirmed. What is confirmable, however, is that the phenomenon is genuine, and has been reported by hundreds of people since the turn of the century.”
