Seventeen Minute Season

Other than awaiting the adjudication of the lawsuits, my Michigan, gun deer season is now passed and over. It was a very short one this year…not bad for sitting in the worst spot on the farm. During the eve of the opener festivities it was decided that everyone would sit where they usually sit and, in one case, one that walks in everyone’s spot.

Being the expert I am, I figured I was going to be in the worst spot come the morning. The spot is pretty good, if the weather cooperates, but the weather reports indicated the worst type of winds for my location. Being the knucklehead I am, I was naive enough to believe the weather reports.
