Smith, Fragale Combine For No-Hitter

Laila Smith and Sophie Fragale combined for a lopsided, no-hit, 17-1 win over Mt. Jewett in Cameron County Senior Division Little League Softball action. Jewett’s only run was unearned.
Smith threw the first two innings and struck out five of the six hitters she faced.
Fragale had similar success as she stuck out seven in three innings of work. She threw three solid innings in her Senior Division debut on the hill. It was a special day for the Fragale family as big sister Bobbi got to catch for her younger sister for two innings.
