Spring Weather Marks Beginning of Road Construction Season

Cameron County drivers will have hurdles to jump when travelling out of the county over the next several weeks.

The advent of spring weather brings out birds and other wildlife along with construction crews.

The Route 155 project restarted on Monday, March 27, with a work zone stretching from the Cameron-Potter county line near Sizerville State Park north to the McKean County line on the other side of Keating Summit. A portion of the work was completed last year. Route 155 is also known as the Port Allegany-Emporium Road.

Workers will begin construction on the northern end of the project and will feature drainage upgrades and guiderail removal.
