St. Mark Festival Sept. 16

Mark your calendars for the Fifth Annual St. Mark Festival being planned for mid-September at St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium.
The two-day festival will kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 15, with a spaghetti dinner at O’Connell Hall from 4-7 p.m. On Saturday, September 16, festivities will run from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Activities include games, rides, raffles and auctions, a Catholic Daughters of America (CD of A) yard sale, and live music by The Moore Brothers, a band that plays a range of rock and country hits.
A variety of food booths will be open throughout the day on Saturday, offering Italian sausage sandwiches, walking tacos, beef-on-weck, pie and ice cream, snow cones, and other delicious options. Beginning at 3 p.m., a turkey plate dinner will be available, with all the fixings and Jo’s Famous Cornbread.
