Students Clean Up Litter on School Grounds
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful organization believes that our younger generation is the key to a cleaner environment. Providing opportunities for environmental stewardship is a big step in that direction. Cameron County School District is now partnering with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Litter Free School Zone program.
The organization also offers programs that can complement lessons designed around recycling, litter awareness, and community stewardship. The Litter Free School Zone program is designed to encourage students to keep their school grounds litter-free and to raise public awareness regarding litter via a Litter Free School Zone sign to be displayed outside the school.
