The Best Parts

I’ve changed though and what I enjoy the most about hunting has changed. Sure I still want to see that sneaking buck during the first crack of light of opening day or any day but there are other parts of the hunt that I really take in and bring home with me that I probably ignored in my twenties.

A look through my hunting photos will reveal friends and nice bucks but you will now see the crack of light before the sun slips under the horizon, a bird on a limb, a flower and the crook of an old oak. Those things have become more than just a part or backdrop to the hunt; they have become the hunt.
