The Odds of Faith

by William Crisp

This is an outdoor column but I happen to think that proof of intelligent design has more to do with the outdoors than a lot of articles that are ostensibly about deer.

I fall under the category of one of the types of guys who nods at the quote; “I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist.” This is also the title of a book by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.

I share the feeling with many sportsmen that there is definitely a plan and design to our world. There are many scientific measurements that have led to the conclusion that things wouldn’t work unless there was intelligent design. The circumstances that created us and keep us alive being accidental requires an improbable amount of violations of the rules of physics, otherwise known as miracles.
