Archery Update

Saturday, September 29th, marked the season opener for archery season.  Jake and I hiked to a narrow ridge before light and climbed into a two-man tree stand.  There were both red and rock oak acorns on the ground, and several buck rubs were visible.  We hunted until 10 a.m. in thick fog and saw nothing.  I told Jake as we were hiking out to “keep the faith, this is a good spot.”.
