Wandering Aimlessly

A Change In Priorities

by Phil Burkhouse

Our youngest grandson, Isaac Boone Grovanz, turned 7 in August and already has killed two bucks with his crossbow.  His father, Ralph, began working with Isaac at a very young age, and at 5 years old Isaac was able to steady his crossbow on a tripod and shoot very accurately.  That year Isaac got his first deer, a three-point.  Last year he whacked a nice 6-point and is now, like his older cousin Big Jake, an accomplished trophy hunter.
