Wandering Aimlessly Sept. 5, 2013 – It’s On

The first week of September traditionally marks the kickoff of the elk rut in our area, and while it is early in the season, the excitement begins building in my old bones. Last Thursday the weather channel had posted a frost advisory for northcentral Pennsylvania, and I knew the cool weather would probably stir some early activity.
