Weekend in the Wilds Shaping Up To Be Biggest, Best Yet
This year’s Weekend in the Wilds event promises to be bigger and better than ever featuring the largest number of vendors the event has ever hosted.
While most activities will occur over a two-day span on Friday, June 30, and Saturday, July 1, the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library’s Annual Book Sale will kick-off next Wednesday, June 28, from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. The Book Sale will also be open Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Friday evening’s events will take place in Emporium’s “Church District,” beginning with an Open House at a new community business, The Hygrade Inn. This new bed-and-breakfast is expected to begin taking reservations late next year. Friday’s open house is being organized to give community members an opportunity to see the home before remodeling begins to transform this former personal care home into an upscale attraction.
