Work to correct ordinance violations at a number of properties across Shippen Township continues.

Garbage issues at a home just outside of Truman have been remedied with the help of an outside governmental agency. Issues with the yard of a second home, near the fairgrounds, have also been remedied, as have issues at a Pine Glen home. Those three violation files have been closed.

A trailer in Clear Creek is in the process of being torn down. A roll-off dumpster has been brought to the property, and the walls and ceiling of the trailer are now down. However, there is still quite a bit of debris on the ground, according to township employees.
