An Emporium man was resentenced on charges including institutional vandalism following a revocation of his probation that occurred last year.

Francisco Soto, age 31, was ordered to serve 24 months in the State Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), but was given credit for time served since the date he was committed to the Department of Corrections for purposes of IPP evaluation on November 23.

Soto entered a guilty plea in January of 2014 to misdemeanor charges of possessing a prohibited offensive weapon, disorderly conduct and institutional vandalism.
