The long wait for the DAV van for Cameron County Vets is finally over. The DAV van is a 2016 Ford Flex with only 134 miles. The new van arrived late in June and has already been put to good use. A lot of organizations helped in getting this project done. The van is for any veteran in Cameron County who needs a ride to any medical appointment. There is no charge for this service. All automotive services, including gas, are funded by the DAV nonprofit charity.
