The weather held out while over 300 people attended the Emporium Rotary’s annual picnic August 17th at the Bucktail Rod and Gun Club. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of the Rotary’s famous clam chowder, shrimp, steamed clams and steak dinner, along with delicious desserts and beverages. Also attending the picnic was the Rotary District Governor, Dick Drukker, from the Ringtown Valley  Rotary Club. The Club thanks John Sidelinger for his donation of a wildlife painting which was auctioned off, and to everyone who purchased a ticket. Proceeds from the picnic fund Rotary’s scholarships and other community projects. Shown enjoying the picnic food are (seated on left) Kerry Etchepare, Tim and Jen Olivett and Paul Malizia. On the right is District Justice Barry Brown.
