IN CUSTODY – Thomas Edward Smith is accompanied by Emporium Police Cpl. Matt Siple as they leave the Borough Police Station Monday evening. Smith, on the run for 27 days, turned himself into police at about 8:45 p.m. at a bar on East Allegany Avenue in Emporium.
