The Longest Day Alzheimer’s Event

Guy and Mary Felt Manor will be taking part in The Longest Day, an event held by the Alzheimer’s Association yearly. This event will be held on June 21st to bring awareness to all that Alzheimer’s is a 24 hour a day disease. More than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s, the most common form of dementia.

Three students from Cameron County High School will be in charge of the event that day. This will be their senior project and the Manor is thrilled to have them.

The fundraising event will begin at 10 a.m. with a bake sale and continue with a hotdog sale starting at 11:00. There will be a photo booth to share the event throughout the day.
