Wandering Aimlessly Kill Deer

Two weeks ago I pulled into a large parking lot about three miles west of Emporium. The lot had been covered with limestone chips and was in very nice condition. I exited the truck and was immediately treated to a view of two birds that were each flapping around on the ground emitting high pitched distress calls.
