‘A Little of This and That’
It is interesting to note from Kent Riegel’s column that he lived behind the Taggart home, which was shown in your January 10th edition. He questions who lived in the Taggart home, stating when he lived behind it a Mrs. Van Wert occupied the home. I don’t know when that was.
In the early 1960s my husband at the time, George Taggart, and myself took our three children there – to meet their great grandmother, Mrs. Taggart. I believe she had always lived there, but passed away shortly after our visit. I don’t recall her first name, but I believe it was Gertrude. I do recognize the name Van Wert, but don’t know any other details
