Alle-Catts Win Final Two Games, Claim Top Seed In Playoffs

The Emporium Alle-Catt baseball team played the last two games of the 2015 regular season and were victorious in both. Last Monday the Cats won at Crosby in a rescheduled night game and on Sunday they nipped Eldred in the season finale.
At Crosby, Emporium’s lefthander pitched nine strong innings and Anthony Grimone and Ralph McKimm both homered in a 9-2 win over the Mud Hens. McKimm allowed just six hits and two first inning runs while striking out ten and walking three. Grimone had three hits, drove in two runs, while Saul Solveson, Ryan Bresslin, Dom Manginell and Tucker Britton added two hits apiece.
