Annual St. Mark Festival Set For August
The fourth annual St. Mark’s Festival will be held the weekend of August 26 and 27 at St. Mark Catholic Church in downtown Emporium.
“The festival is a great way to celebrate summer’s closing and to kick off fall festivities,” said committee member Jessie Grovanz.
The first get-together in a long list of events will take place on Friday, August 26 at O’Connell Hall behind the church. A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by Bingo from 7-10 p.m.
On Saturday, August 27, festivities begin at 11 a.m. and events will be ongoing until 10 p.m.
