Bagubas Top Sheffield For First Win

The Cameron County High School Red Raider Baguba varsity wrestling team picked up their first victory of the season defeating the Sheffield Wolverines 39-30 last Thursday evening.
CCHS made the trip to Warren County and won four of five matches wrestled. Winning by fall were Ryan Chilcote, Wendell O’Brien and Nate Palumbo while Devin Palumbo won a hard fought decision.
The Bagubas also traveled to North East last weekend and competed in the North East Wrestling Classic. At 152 Wendell O’Brien placed 4th, at 170 Caleb Pifer was 6th, at 182 Devin Geitner was 6th and at 285 Nate Palumbo placed 3rd improving to 12-2 on the year.
