Boro Council Votes To Retain Millage Rate
The Emporium Borough Council voted unanimously to accept the Tax Levy Ordinance and 2016 Budget as presented during a special meeting held Monday night.
Tax Levy Ordinance 492 was accepted unanimously, setting the millage rate at 16.91 mills. The rate has remained at that level since it was last increased in 2006.
