Bundy Charged With Escaping Courthouse
On Friday, an Austin woman being arraigned on charges of conspiracy to commit several drug-related crimes escaped from custody but was apprehended a short time later.
Kortney Leigh Bundy, age 28, was awaiting finalization of her preliminary arraignment on felony charges of conspiracy to commit possession of controlled substances and related counts when she slipped out of the courthouse.
Bundy was reportedly handcuffed and belted but managed to slip her hands from the cuffs, remove her restraints, and walk out of the building.
