ELK BUGLING SEASON
Living on the fringes of Pennsylvania’s elk region, I never have to look at my calendar to know it’s September. If I don’t hear the bugling first, the juvenile coyotes let me know with their excited yelps and howls instigated by the high-pitched calls of the elk.
