Cameron County Ranks Top In Unemployment

The most recent statistics released by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry indicate that the statewide unemployment rate has continued to decline.

The new rate, which reflects statistics from December of 2015, is calculated at 4.8%, although new unemployment compensation (UC) claims are up in the four-week average. But, the unemployment count does sit at its lowest level since the start of the recession in December of 2007.
