Outdoor Club Goes On Elk Expedition

    Tradition holds for Cameron County High School Outdoor Club’s first field trip of the school year. A dozen students took an after school evening to go elk viewing.  They were accompanied by Advisors, Mandy Miller, Lee Sines, Tom Gelnett, Bill Faulk and Don Bickford of Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities (CCOYA).     

Grant Will Improve Cameron County Health Care Options

    Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson announced the awarding $125,050 Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant to a Cameron County health center.  The funding awarded to Keystone Rural Health Consortia’s Cameron County Health Care Center will provide assistance in providing on site behavioral health services.
