    Emporium Volunteer Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary will be holding their annual craft show on Saturday, December 3rd. If you are interested in having a table, the cost is $10 per table. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Friday and again at 7 a.m. Saturday for setting up.    

Spaghetti Dinner

    Emporium Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary will hold their annual spaghetti dinner  on Sunday, November 27th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $8.00 for adults and  $5.00 for children under 10. Dinner consists of spaghetti, salad, Italian bread and dessert.

Emmanuel Episcopal Church To Celebrate 150th This Sunday

    The members of Emporium’s Emmanuel Episcopal Church will celebrate 150 years of service to the community this Sunday, October 30. The Episcopal Church was the first to be established in Cameron County, with the current Parish Hall building being constructed in the late 1860s.  

Dress Up Day at Senior Center

    Dress up day will be held at the Emporium Senior Center on Monday, October 31st. Judging will begin at 11:45 a.m. “The Ghost & Mr. Chicken” will be played at 12:30 p.m. and popcorn served.

Pepperhill Fire Marker Dedication Today

    On October 19, 1938, eight people lost their lives attempting to extinguish a wildfire. After reviewing the tragic events a case study for training fire-fighters was developed to prevent this from happening again.  This ongoing training has saved many lives and will continue to be taught to teach future fire-fighters.
