CCHS Basketball Team Defeats Punxsy, Falls To Ridgway

The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity basketball team played a pair of non-league games last week and split the contests. On Monday they were defeated at Ridgway and on Wednesday they beat Punxsutawney in the home opener.
At Ridgway, Cameron County played a nip and tuck game with the Elkers but fell to last season’s Class A District 9 Champions, 44-40. Ben McDonald netted seventeen points to lead the winners while Jeremy Breier added sixteen.
