Commissioners Award Several Bid Items

Cameron County Commissioners approved a number of spending agenda items during their meeting last Thursday.
The once tabled bidding process to replace a major culvert on Sizer Run was finally acted on.
Solveson Contracting of Emporium was awarded the bid at $55,605.65 after revising specifications for the project.
Moyer Building & Remodeling of Emporium was awarded the bid for foundation repairs and other work at the county’s communications tower on Whittimore Hill. The winning bid was for $11,550 with options of another $4,100.
Commissioners approved a recommendation from the county’s Industrial Development Agency for a USDA revolving loan to North American Tooling, Inc. in the amount of $75,000. Funds will partially finance new equipment for the firm.
