Commissioners Discuss Deteriorating Buildings
Cameron County Commissioners discussed the deteriorating conditions of several buildings that used to house apartments and a Fourth Street business in Emporium.
The former Admit One video store and an adjacent storefront on Fourth Street and a former apartment building on Greenwood Avenue just behind that location have seen better days. On the apartment building, several porches have collapsed and most windows are broken out. Admit One, which was used as a haunted house for several years, is having structural problems, and most recently, the roof of the adjacent storefront collapsed.
