Commissioners Reject Bid For Fourth Street Property

Cameron County Commissioners rejected a repository bid placed on an Emporium property during their regular meeting held Thursday.
The bid was placed for purchase of a parcel of land on East Fourth Street that includes the former Admit One building, an adjacent storefront and an apartment building in the rear facing East Greenwood Street. All three locations are in serious disrepair and have become health and safety hazards.
