Cameron County Commissioners discussed movements with two properties related to judicial sales during their meeting held on Thursday at the courthouse in Emporium.

Commissioners approved utilizing $6,885 of Act 13 funding to demolish the former Griffith residence located at 430 East Allegany Avenue. Bucktail Excavators of St. Marys was awarded the contract, and no deadline was given for completion of the work. That home went unsold in the 2014 Judicial Sale and was subsequently purchased from the repository by the county for $1.
