County Sued By Former Airport Head

Long-time Bradford Airport Director Tom Frungillo has filed a federal lawsuit against the Bradford Regional Airport, the counties it serves and other entities after he alleges he was wrongfully terminated from his position.

According to the Bradford Era, Frungillo alleges that the airport terminated his employment in retaliation for his health problems.

Frungillo’s contract ran from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2016, but he received a termination letter on September 17, 2014. The lawsuit states that Frungillo took a brief vacation in September of 2014, but asked for additional time off “to care for and treat” his health conditions.
