Crawdad Clamor

June has been a beautiful month. Every day has been sunny and warm with clear skies.
The saying, “Nothing in this world is free,” is coming around. The price has been our streams have dropped in level and now the fish are starting to stress.
Recently, I had a number of calls about dead crawdads in the creek. So far after investigation the mortality appears to be just a more visible and perhaps slightly more extreme version of an annual event.
