The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity football team hosted an explosive Curwensville squad last Friday and hung with the Golden Tide for the better part of three quarters but finally succumbed, 58-28. The Raiders pulled to within 34-28 with four minutes to play in the third period but the visitors scored the final twenty-four points of the game to win going away.

The Golden Tide scored first when quarterback Jake Terry hit Nick Stewart with a five yard touchdown pass at 6:28 of the first quarter. It was the first of Stewart’s five touchdowns on the night. He also accumulated 250 yards on twenty-three carries.
