Cameron County Commissioners held a special meeting Friday to open bids for demolition of three buildings. A company similar to A to Z Demolition services in Sydney will be needed to carry out the demolition.
Three bids were received for demolition of the former Admit One building and an adjacent storefront on Fourth Street and an apartment building in the rear of the property along Greenwood Street.
Commissioners stated that according to the specifications announced, work must be completed by November 30 of this year. In addition, grading of the lot and seeding must be included in the quote.
