The race for Cameron County District Attorney is too close to call and will not be determined until after absentee ballots are tallied on Friday.

Tuesday night’s preliminary election results show Republican Jeanne Miglicio leading the race for District Attorney by twenty votes over incumbent Paul Malizia, who ran as an Independent but received enough Democratic write-in votes to qualify as a candidate for that party in the general election.
