Acquires AST
Embassy Powdered Metals, Inc. announced the acquisition of all assets formerly known as the Emporium-based American Sintered Technologies (AST) Monday.
Embassy, which has doubled in size and employment over the past four years, including $7 million in new investments, expects to gross $16 million in sales and employ approximately 90 people after the most recent investment. The company anticipates rapid expansion through the new facility and predicts further employment growth in the future. “Embassy’s progress over the past several years has been unbelievable,” said Embassy Principal and Officer Tom Hutton. “With this acquisition, we foresee even more growth on the horizon.”
