Emmanuel Episcopal Church Readying For 150th Anniversary Celebration

The congregation of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Emporium will celebrate its 150th anniversary with Mass and a reception on Sunday, October 30.
Services will begin in the church proper at 1 p.m. (rather than the traditional 11 a.m. start time), and will be officiated by the Right Reverend Sean W. Rowe, Bishop of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Diocese, and Emmanuel Reverend Matthew Ryan. A reception following Mass will be held in the Parish Hall, and will feature a luncheon and drinks and historical memorabilia and photographs from the many years of services to the people of Cameron County.
