Emporium Native Becomes First Chiropractor For Geisinger
Jon A. Carlson D.C., CCSP, a board certified chiropractic sports physician has joined the staff at Geisinger Gray’s Woods. A Cameron County High School grad, Dr. Carlson is Geisinger’s first chiropractor.
A former collegiate athlete who suffered many injuries himself, Dr. Carlson became a doctor to specialize in injury prevention and performance. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University, College of Chiropractic in 2009. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, in 2005, where he was a member of the school’s wrestling team.
