Fall Season Fashion

It is now past Labor Da,y which means it is time to put away the white purses, pastels and talk about football and hunting! I once did a September presentation at a sportsmen’s club which included a long talk about wonderful projects and controversial fishing changes that may cost money…topics that would draw a high response in April.
When finished, I asked for questions as it was time to take my beatings. Instead, after a delayed pause, only one hand went up.
I nodded and the guy asked, “How many deer did you see on the way here?”
Everyone suddenly got on the edge of their seat. “Okay, it is September…good question. I think about eight.”
Then, five more hands went up (two from one guy though). All were related to hunting. I got the hint; fishing season was over in Pennsylvania!
