‘First Job’
I remember my first paying job in Emporium. I was 16 years old when I was hired by McCrory’s Five & Ten. I worked Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, the stores closed at noon because on Thursdays they were open until 9 p.m. Why?
