Freshman Palumbo Competes At PIAA NW Regional Wrestling Tourney
Cameron County High School Red Raider Baguba freshman Nate Palumbo traveled to Sharon High School last Friday to take part in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Northwest Regional Class AA Wrestling Tournament and gained valuable experience.
As the fourth place finisher in District 9, Palumbo took on Bobby Gregory in his opening match and lost to the Mercer High School senior by fall at 1:11. Palumbo then moved to the consolation bracket and took on Reynolds High School’s junior Derrick Skeehan but was eliminated in a 5-0 decision.
